Understanding the Astro-Grid

Decoding Your Compatibility Details

The Astro-Grid is a visual tool, similar to a checkerboard, designed to show how each person's planets and other astrological points interact with those of another person through the major astrological aspects.

What the Grid Shows

Imagine a grid where one person's planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, etc., plus points like the North Node and Ascendant) are listed down the left side (Rows), and the other person's planets are listed across the top (Columns). Each square within the grid represents the specific interaction between the planet in that row and the planet in that column.

Reading a Grid Square

Each square contains several pieces of information using standard astrological symbols (glyphs), house numbers, zodiac signs, aspect symbols, angles, and scores. You'll become familiar with these quickly as you use the Astro-Grid.

By exploring the different squares in the Astro-Grid and reading the interpretations for the significant aspects, you can develop a deeper understanding of the many dynamics within a relationship. These individual interactions, along with house overlays and other astrological factors, contribute to five Area Scores – Overall, Romance, Sex, Friendship, and Money. View/Print Report provides additional summaries and detailed personalized interpretations that bring these individual pieces together into a more complete picture of the relationship.
