What the Astro-Grid Does

Astro-Grid.com is an astrological compatibility service that allows you to compare the birth charts of two people. It uses birth information to calculate astrological relationships and produces compatibility scores, interpretations, summaries, charts, and reports intended to help you explore the dynamics between two people.

Astrology is interpretive rather than an exact science. The scores and interpretations provided by the Astro-Grid should not be considered objective measurements of a relationship or predictions that a relationship will succeed, fail, continue, or end. Scores and interpretations may change as we continually strive to improve the quality of the website.

The information provided by Astro-Grid.com is for personal insight, exploration, and entertainment. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Decisions about your relationships and your life remain your responsibility.

Who May Create an Account

You must be at least 18 years old to create or maintain an account on Astro-Grid.com.

An adult account holder may enter birth information for someone under 18 when creating an astrological chart or compatibility report. The fact that a person is under 18 does not prevent their birth chart from being used in an astrological comparison.

Please use good judgment when entering information about other people and don't provide personal information without authority or permission.

Your Account

You are responsible for providing reasonably accurate account information and for keeping your password and account secure.

Your account is for your use. You may not attempt to access another person's account, interfere with the operation or security of the site, circumvent its credit or payment systems, use automated methods to place an unreasonable burden on the service, or otherwise misuse Astro-Grid.com.

Serious or repeated abuse of the site may result in suspension or deletion of your account. If an account is deleted because of abuse, fraud, attempted fraud, interference with the site, or another serious violation of these Terms, unused credits will not be refunded.

Birth Information and Other People

To calculate an astrological chart, we need information such as a person's name, date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth.

You can enter your own birth information and information about other people you wish to compare. You are responsible for the information you enter and for making sure you have an appropriate reason or right to use information concerning another person.

Birth information can be extremely important to the accuracy of an astrological report. Astro-Grid.com is not responsible for inaccurate results caused by incorrect birth dates, times, locations, names, or other information supplied by a user.

Information We Collect

We try to collect only information that is reasonably necessary to operate the service.

Depending on how you use Astro-Grid.com, this may include:

• Information associated with your account, such as your name and email address.
• Birth information that you enter for yourself or other people.
• People, comparisons, charts, and reports associated with your account.
• Your available report credits and records of credit purchases.
• Communications you send through the site's support system.
• Basic technical information produced when you use a website, such as server logs, IP addresses, browser information, login/session information, and security-related records.

We do not use your personal information for behavioral advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to operate Astro-Grid.com. This includes creating and maintaining your account, calculating astrological charts and comparisons, generating and saving reports, maintaining your credit balance, processing purchases, responding to support requests, maintaining the security and reliability of the site, diagnosing technical problems, and preventing fraud or abuse.

Information may also be used when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect the rights, security, and operation of Astro-Grid.com and its users.

Saved People, Comparisons, and Reports

Information you enter may be stored with your account so you can return to previously created people, comparisons, charts, and reports without having to recreate everything each time.

This is an intentional feature of the service.

Your saved information remains associated with your account until you delete information through features provided by the site or close your account, except for information that may need to be retained for legitimate legal, financial, security, backup, or record keeping purposes.

Cookies and Basic Website Technology

Astro-Grid.com may use cookies or similar browser technology that is necessary for ordinary website functions, such as keeping you signed in and maintaining a secure session.

Web servers also normally create technical logs when pages are requested. These logs can contain information such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, dates and times, and errors. This information may be useful for security, troubleshooting, and keeping the site functioning properly.

We do not use this technology to build advertising profiles about you.

Payments and Credits

Astro-Grid.com uses a credit system for generating compatibility reports. Some credits may be provided free of charge, and additional credits may be purchased.

Purchased credits do not expire while Astro-Grid.com remains in operation.

Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. Astro-Grid.com does not receive or store your complete credit or debit card number. The site may retain transaction information necessary to identify a purchase, maintain your credit balance, provide support, prevent fraud, and keep appropriate financial records.

Refunds

As a general rule, purchases of Astro-Grid credits are nonrefundable.

If a technical malfunction of Astro-Grid.com prevents a purchased credit from being used as intended, please contact us through the Support link. We will consider refund requests resulting from genuine site malfunctions on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the circumstances, we may restore a credit or provide a refund when we determine that doing so is appropriate.

Refunds are not provided because birth information was entered incorrectly or because a user later changes, corrects, or modifies birth information after generating a report.

Unused credits are not refundable when an account is suspended or deleted because of abuse, fraud, attempted fraud, interference with the operation of the site, or another serious violation of these Terms.

Email and Communications

We may send email that is necessary to operate your account or provide requested services. This can include account verification, password resets, security notices, support responses, and other service-related communications.

We do not sell your email address or other personal information.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or share your personal information with other people or businesses for their own marketing purposes.

Some information necessarily passes through companies that provide the technical services needed to operate the site. For example, a hosting provider transmits and stores website data, an email provider may process email messages, and a payment processor must receive information necessary to process a payment. Their involvement is limited to providing those services.

We may also disclose information when we are legally required to do so, such as in response to a valid court order, subpoena, or other lawful requirement, or when reasonably necessary to protect the site, its users, or others from fraud, abuse, security threats, or unlawful activity.

Protecting Your Information

We take reasonable measures to protect account information and the systems used by Astro-Grid.com.

No website or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, however. While we work to protect information entrusted to us, we cannot promise that unauthorized access, technical failures, data loss, or other security incidents will never occur.

You can help by using a strong password, protecting your login information, and contacting Support if you believe someone has gained unauthorized access to your account.

Closing Your Account and Deleting Your Information

You may close your account if you no longer wish to use Astro-Grid.com.

Closing your account will cancel any remaining credits and remove the personal information, saved people, and reports associated with your account to the extent reasonably possible. Remaining credits have no cash value and are not refundable when you voluntarily close your account.

Some information may be retained when there is a legitimate reason or legal obligation to keep it. This can include payment and accounting records, fraud and security records, records needed to resolve disputes or enforce these Terms, support communications, and information contained temporarily in routine system backups.

Information retained for these purposes will not be kept simply for unrelated marketing purposes.

Your Reports

Reports generated through your account are intended for your personal use. You are welcome to view, save, print, and share reports you have legitimately generated.

Please remember that a compatibility report can contain information and interpretations concerning another person. Consider that person's privacy before publicly posting or distributing a report.

Our Content and Intellectual Property

The Astro-Grid, its design, software, scoring methods, report formats, astrological interpretations, written content, graphics, branding, and other original material are protected intellectual property.

Purchasing a credit or generating a report gives you the right to use the resulting report for personal, noncommercial purposes. It does not transfer ownership of the underlying software, scoring systems, interpretation library, website content, or other intellectual property.

You may not reproduce substantial portions of the site's interpretation library, systematically extract its content, copy or republish the service, or use automated systems to collect its proprietary material without permission.

Accuracy and Astrological Interpretation

We work to make the astrological calculations and interpretations provided by Astro-Grid.com useful and accurate within the system being used, but we cannot guarantee that every calculation, interpretation, score, or report will be free from errors.

Astrologers can also disagree about methods, orbs, house systems, interpretations, and the relative importance of different chart factors. The Astro-Grid represents one particular approach to astrological compatibility.

Most importantly, people are more complicated than any chart or compatibility score. A high score does not guarantee a successful relationship, and a low score does not mean that a relationship cannot be meaningful or successful.

Use the Astro-Grid as a tool for exploration—not as a substitute for your own judgment.

Changes to the Service

Astro-Grid.com is an evolving service. We may improve or modify features, calculations, scoring methods, interpretations, pricing, credit packages, report formats, or other parts of the service over time.

A report generated at one time may therefore differ from a report generated later using updated software or interpretations.

We may also need to temporarily interrupt the service for maintenance, security, technical problems, or circumstances beyond our control. We cannot guarantee that the site will always be available without interruption.

If Astro-Grid.com permanently ceases operation, unused credits may expire when the service ends.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Astro-Grid.com and its owner or operator will not be responsible for losses, damages, relationship decisions, personal decisions, or other consequences resulting from reliance on astrological scores, interpretations, reports, or other information provided by the site.

We are also not responsible for losses resulting from circumstances reasonably beyond our control, including internet failures, service interruptions, unauthorized activity, third-party service failures, or loss of data.

If Astro-Grid.com is found liable for a claim arising from your use of a paid service, our financial liability will, to the extent permitted by law, be limited to the amount you paid to Astro-Grid.com for the service giving rise to that claim.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

Ending or Suspending Access

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to protect Astro-Grid.com or its users, including in cases involving fraud, attempted fraud, security attacks, harassment through the service, deliberate interference with the site's operation, circumvention of payment or credit systems, or serious or repeated violations of these Terms.

We hope never to need this provision. Its purpose is simply to allow us to protect the service and the people who use it.

Changes to These Terms and Privacy Policy

We may update these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy as Astro-Grid.com changes or as legal and operational requirements change.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will indicate when the policy was most recently revised. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information or the terms under which a paid service is provided, we will make reasonable efforts to provide appropriate notice.

Your continued use of the site after updated terms become effective means that you accept the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.

Governing Law

These Terms and your use of Astro-Grid.com are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Astro-Grid.com in the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
